In front of the saddle is a rolled up blanket—again, we give our cats the default blue and gray. Behind the saddle are saddlebags and a rolled up raincoat. Traditionally, we add a strip of saddle blanket behind the saddle, but since it gets hidden under the saddlebags, Rebecca is leaving it off to save time. We also usually put a hole in the middle of the raincoat, so the cat can slip it over his head like a poncho. But again, its presence or absence is not noticeable.
